Space programs are remarkable for their complexity and remarkable for their utter lack of reason.
Its should be obvious by now that the chances of travelling great distances to the next planet a bit like Earth are zero.
Using ALL the fossil fuels and chemicals and nuclear power on this planet, any occupants would be dead a long time before the 'craft' got anywhere.
Perhaps we can build a giant spaceship so that it becomes a small world with offspring and can travel for thousands of years.
And even if that were possible, whats the point?
IF the craft got anywhere it could land, what effect would that have on this planet, where any connection to the spacecraft would have long been forgotten.
What a load of bollocks space travel is. Its a hobby for very small children and semi-moronic adults.
Lets lie on the beach and enjoy the day instead.
